Decision-making in complexity: interpreting context beyond narratives and simplifications (with networking aperitif)

Centro Svizzero Via Palestro, 2 - 20121 MILANO

In a landscape shaped by information overload, faster decision cycles and growing polarization, the ability to make thoughtful choices has become a core leadership capability. Managerial decisions increasingly face partial readings of reality, simplified narratives and interpretations that influence perceptions, priorities and judgment. In this setting, the ability to read context with critical depth, to distinguish what truly matters from what is secondary, and to remain clear-headed in decision-making is a strategic responsibility for leaders.
This session offers a reflection on the relationship between information, complexity and decision-making, providing insights to help leaders move beyond reductive frames and immediate explanations.

The contribution of Francesco Costa fits into this perspective by inviting participants to reflect on how decisions take shape in complex environments: from the role of information and its distortions, to the experience of those who work daily to select, interpret and contextualize facts, and to the way leaders approach decision-making under pressure and uncertainty.

Further details will follow.
