Performance under pressure: managing stress without losing effectiveness

Sede da definire COMO

Managing stress has become a critical lever for sustaining performance in today’s high-intensity, high-complexity work environments. Greater responsibility, ambitious targets, compressed timelines and the need to manage multiple activities and projects in parallel make pressure a structural element of managerial roles.
In this context, the challenge is not to eliminate stress altogether, but to understand how it affects focus, decision quality and long-term effectiveness. This session explores the relationship between stress and performance, offering participants practical perspectives and insights to identify the main sources of pressure linked to everyday work management and to deal with them in a more conscious and functional way. The discussion will also touch on organizational and relational dynamics as contextual factors that can amplify or mitigate stress, providing an integrated view aimed at improving how performance is sustained under pressure.

Within this framework, the contribution of Paolo Hendel will bring an ironic and deeply human perspective on the emotional pressure that accompanies any professional or creative journey. Through stories, paradoxes and sharp observations, Hendel will show how anxiety, expectations and fear of making mistakes are transversal experiences, not exclusive to the corporate world. An intervention that lightens the topic without trivializing it, highlighting how awareness and self-irony can become concrete resources for coping with pressure in a more balanced way.

Further details will follow.
