Gen Z at work: strategies for attracting and retaining young talent

Centro Svizzero Via Palestro, 2 - 20121 MILANO

In a rapidly evolving job market, marked by significant generational turnover, companies face a crucial challenge: attracting, engaging, and retaining young talent. Gen Z brings a new perspective to work, prioritizing flexibility, personal growth, social impact, and well-being. However, many companies struggle to adapt to these expectations, risking the loss of valuable resources and experiencing rising trends such as quiet quitting and high turnover.

This event will provide an opportunity to explore the needs of Gen Z and understand how companies can adapt to this transformation by creating more engaging, stimulating work environments that align with the new generational expectations.

In particular, participants will have the chance to:

  • listen to the insights of Luca Bottura, who will offer a critical and authentic perspective on intergenerational dynamics in the workplace, providing food for thought and provocations on how to navigate the ongoing evolution of the work environment
  • gain a deeper understanding, thanks to Giustiniano La Vecchia, of the role of "Inspirational Leaders" within organizations to guide and motivate the new generations. He will provide practical strategies and advice on how to create work environments that inspire and meet Gen Z’s expectations, emphasizing the importance of motivating and future-oriented leadership
  • take inspiration from the OneDay Group business case, presented by Betty Pagnin, an expert in young talent engagement. She will focus on the values, expectations, and new professional dynamics of Gen Z, illustrating effective strategies and policies for attracting and retaining young talent.

Attendees will receive a copy of the book “Ispiratori del nuovo Millennio: Abbracciare il cambiamento con Empatia, Innovazione e Resilienza per ispirare le Generazioni Future” by Giustiniano La Vecchia.
