The secrets of non-verbal language (also online)

In this meeting we will explore the issues of non-verbal language, useful for managers in their business and also in their private lives. In a world of videoconferencing in which the signals of Body Language are increasingly hidden and more difficult to detect, it becomes increasingly important to be able to capture even those micro-signals that your interlocutor launches through a screen. You will understand how it is possible to understand the hidden messages, the things not said, to read the signals of lies or confirmation, to know the techniques necessary to enhance your non-verbal communication.
We will discuss the following topics:

Brain, non-verbal registers and hyperscanning: management applications
• non-verbal communicative registers and mind-brain systems
• The face and communication: genes, plasticity and environment
• Tuning mechanisms and lie detection: innate or learned?
 
The body in service of the language
• In sign languages the body is recruited for linguistic purposes
• What is shared between Deaf and Hearing in the use of facial expressions: production and neurological links
• Bimodal bilinguals: a window on the potential of the bilingual brain
 
The power of gestures
• Gestures and culture: Italy is the babel of gestures
• The tools to perform on stage, both virtual and physical
• Consistency between verbal, non-verbal and para-verbal communication
