From American chaos to the Mediterranean cauldron: what prospects for the future?

In this first webinar of 2021, Lucio Caracciolo will give us an overview of the consequences that the recent political events that have happened in the United States may have in the Mediterranean basin. Contextually, he will outline the new geopolitical situation in this area, highlighting the strategic role that Italy should assume. He will discuss the following topics:

  • what will be the effects of the ending of Trump’s Presidency on the stability of the Mediterranean.
  • Italy must react: the new hybrid war of mare nostrum
  • what are the threats that the new year presents us.
