Building, leading, and sustaining high-performing teams has been the defining theme of Ettore Messina’s career, developed at the highest levels of Italian, European, and international basketball.

Drawing on his extensive experience as a Coaching Consultant for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA and, previously, as Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations at Olimpia Milano, Messina will guide participants through a reflection on the key challenges of team leadership: creating the conditions for individuals with different skills, personalities, backgrounds, and motivations to work together towards a shared goal; nurturing individual talent without compromising team cohesion; building trust and accountability; making decisions under pressure; and continuously evolving, even when results are positive.

The Masterclass will go beyond the most obvious parallels between sports and business, focusing instead on the dynamics that genuinely connect the two worlds: team building and management, individual and collective accountability, talent management, feedback, trust, decision-making under pressure, learning from mistakes, and the ability to sustain high performance over time.
