Remote working: motivates and self-motivated in a context of solitude

We had to get used to work in a context that has undergone many changes in the last year. We found ourselves often working alone, in autonomy, with few human contacts and fewer opportunities for a direct confrontation with both our team and supervisors. How can one self-motivate in a context of solitude? How can we overcome the separation from everything we were used to? How to change, to work well, in context such as this?
A psychologist will help us understand how to work on our mind to fight loneliness and motivate ourselves. With the testimony of a sportswoman Guinnes World Record for Solo Bike Tour of the World, we will understand how you can manage the difficulties due to loneliness. Every day we face challenges that seem impossible, and we will understand how to find the right motivation to face life and work to the maximum of our potential.
We will discuss the following topics:

A record motivation

  • The importance of our habits: being aware of our habits to be more effective at work
  • A common vision: to set a clear goal allows you to feel united with your team even from a distance
  • Motivational strategies: to motivate oneself and others in more complex situations

Loneliness from remote work highlights undeniable difficulties, which we can overcome if we develop new (inner) skills.

THREE enemies
  • Chronological disorder: how to regain rhythms and times that support effectiveness
  • Collapse of empathy for the outside and family contagion: how to balance among several emotional influences
  • Setting confusion: from a rigid alternation between home and work to a mixture of commitments

THREE friends
  • Discipline: we let the environment determine us, now we must improve our willpower
  • Focus: we come from a progressive loss of attention that makes us lose energy
  • New spaces of freedom: learning to grasp the undoubted collateral advantages (times, affections, spaces)
