Managers and Gen-Z: Are You Skilled in Understanding and Managing the younger generation?

The Building Hotel Via Montebello, 126 - 00185 ROMA

9 million Italians belong to Generation Z, and nearly 3 million of them are already integrated into the workforce. This number is expected to grow and change the composition of the teams that managers are tasked with leading. As the first digital natives, they have grown up interacting with increasingly advanced technologies and in an increasingly interconnected world. In the workplace, these young individuals bring unique perspectives and aspirations that are reshaping the corporate landscape. Therefore, their leaders need to gain a deep understanding of the attitudes, interests, and ways of operating Generation Z to manage and motivate them effectively.

What are the characteristics that set apart Generation Z? How do they approach work and what is the best way to guide them towards success?

During this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to explore and thoroughly understand Generation Z and its peculiarities, which, as managers, they must take into consideration. Starting from the analysis of the cultural characteristics shared by "zoomers," we will delve into their workplace expectations, which pose a real challenge for their leaders today.

  • Isabella Pierantoni, a specialist in generational differences, will present her analysis results. She will give a comprehensive overview of Generation Z, focusing on the social context in which they grow and live in order to understand the characteristics of their approach to life and work
  • Christian Zoli, a coach who specializes in people management, will propose a new vision of Generation Z. After that, he will introduce his motivational assessment model. This model is ideal for identifying a personalized approach in managing individuals, which can help understand how to effectively manage Generation Z in the corporate context
  • Alessandro Braga, in charge of The European House – Ambrosetti project dedicated to generational turnover in companies, will conclude the meeting by first outlining the challenges that our country must face regarding the younger generations, and then presenting some best practices for their resolution.
A networking lunch will follow the meeting for participants.
